Southwark Community Sports Trust
Southwark Community Sports Trust is our newest sports club in Turney Road is – often referred to as SCST. It is a community club which runs the playing fields on the even-numbered side of the road – the southern side. The fields were for many years the official sports grounds of the University of the South Bank and its predecessors. When the university decided to give up the lease on the fields the SCST stepped in. The residents’ guidelines for the SCST are here. SCST has a web site at http://www.dulwichsportsground.com/
SCST contact telephone numbers are:
John Smith – 07831 638775 firstname.lastname@example.org

SCST has been granted planning consent to build a nursery with sports facilities on the grounds. A report on this is here.
Edward Alleyn Club
Formerly Alleyn’s Old Boys, EAC backs onto both of our roads and is used by not only the school but also local residents. There are a number of clubs which are based on the grounds for tennis, football and running as well as a nursery, meeting room and bar. The bar is open to the public with lower prices than most pubs, a pleasant lounge and satellite TV. Residents hire the clubhouse for events such as birthday parties.
